We are here for the advancement of a collaborative
and sustainable justice movement by attending to
the physical and emotional needs of activists in
the midst of action and adversity.

A project started to feed activists and provide a place of comfort and care. Twice a month we cook a meal, and open Studio 4A as a space to gather, to celebrate and mourn; a place to simply be. In our desire to support and put money into the hands of those we're fighting with and for, we source portions of our meals from local black-owned businesses. We are committed to creating a safe space for those fighting in our streets and investing in our community.

The model for our dinners is simple : gather donations, put money into the community, feed & care for activists, repeat.

We are also taking this project to the streets, creating brown bag meals to handout to protestors for renewed energy and strength on the ground. Our goal is to provide comfort and care in the midst of turmoil and trauma.

Get in touch if you have resources to share, would like to volunteer, or if you want to attend one of our dinners.

THE DINNERS

Storytelling + Self-Care
Chilli Dinner
February 18th
6:00pm – 9:30

This month, we will be coming together to document our joy. E will host a storytelling workshop, featuring writing prompts and exercises. You will also get to see live examples of stories—and you can share yours if you’re feeling it! Together, we will explore the power of telling stories that celebrate who we are. Whether you’re new to writing and storytelling, or are more experienced, this will be a supportive space to get creative with words.

Join us on February 18th for chili and cornbread and a storytelling workshop.

Please RSVP so we have enough food
